Working across the world..

There are only 4 weeks to go until the 4th GDA on Fast Fashion and our students at York Law School are driving forward a collaboration between students from the UK, USA, Turkey, India, Pakistan and the Gambia to explore the journey of a fast fashion item from creation to destruction. They are looking at everything from the way fast fashion impacts on wages to how IP protects fast fashion to why laws in developed countries allow waste items to be dumped in other countries. Tonight the students will meet on Zoom to share what they have found out and on 17 November we will devote an entire evening of discussion and debate of their final findings.
