17th NOVEMBER 2025

This year marks the 7th anniversary of the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice. In the past we have covered topics as diverse as Fast Fashion and Air Pollution, and universities from Malawi to Delhi to Berlin and California have taken part.

Our theme is "Decarbonization: A just transition." What does decarbonization actually entail? How quickly or easily can it be achieved? Can we compel governments to take action? How do we ensure that the most vulnerable in society don't end up footing the bill for change - again?

These are just some of the points you and your Law Clinic might like to look into; and it is entirely up to you to decide what you do and how.  Check out our blog to see some of the things university law clinics cross the world have done in previous years.
